Shimano Exsence DC is the saltwater fine version Antares DC with a few modifications to its original.  The list of following high-end fearture is to make Exsence DC the smoothest, longest casting reel. It has New 4x8 DC computer controled brake specifically tuned to cast with PE braided lines mainly. Components are salt-resistant. Spool is narrowed by 10% to prevent dig-ins. Line alarm is installed to tell you when lines are pulled out. Micro module gears leave almost no gearing noise to hands. All of these features are housed in very sturdy Hagane body frame. Handle is enlonged to 90mm to have more cranking power.
