Expanding on the popular Revo family, Abu Garcia® introduces the Revo® Inshore spinning reel.  Constructed with NanoShield™, these durable reels have much less flex in the reel stem, a common complaint by anglers of most saltwater spinning reels. With NanoShield™ technology, the lightweight reel produces optimum reel performance by creating components that are up to 50% lighter than aluminum and up to 300% stronger than graphite. The NanoShield finish is extremely resistant to corrosion, abrasion and cracking, making the Revo Inshore ideal for the salt. Other features include a one-piece gearbox design, seven HPCR® (High Performance Corrosion Resistant) stainless steel bearings plus one roller ball bearing and a sealed Carbon Matrix™ drag with 12-pound (INS30) and 18-pound (INS40) maximum drags. The Everlast™ bail system and slow oscillation create a smooth and reliable line retrieve operation. The large, flat EVA handle knob provides greater comfort and control and the reel can be configured for right- or left-hand retrieve. Two models are offered, each with a gear ratio of 5.8:1. The INS30 weighs 253 grams spools, 82.5cm of line per turn of the handle and has a spool capacity of 140 yards of 10-pound test monofilament or 180 yards of 10-pound test braid. Model INS40 weighs 290 grams spools, 82.5cm of line per handle turn and has a spool capacity of 180 yards of 12-pound test mono and 210 yards of 14-pound braid.
