Daiwa Tatula is a compact, solid bait casting reel fine for saltwater. It has aluminum alloy body frame for durability. It has an innovative level winder system to cast about 5 % longer. The TWS T shaped level winder release line without friction to add casting distance.

The TWS on this Tatula has two sections, one narrow groove to lay lines onto spool, and the upper wide area for lines to pass without friction. The TWS line guide rotates by clutch to specify lines to pass the respective areas in casting and retrieving.

Tatula has Magforce Z brake system, which has popping out brake rotor on the spool and which engages in casting to emit adequate brake force automatically. Which also do not much engage at pitching to add pitching distance.  The duralumin shallow spool is light and it accelerates fast with light rigs. Gold accents for H, red for SH and blue for XH
