HOW TO FISH THE TAIL DANCER
The stop-and-go technique works wonders with the Tail Dancer. Crank your bait down, then pause for a one or two count, then crank ahead, then stop. The lure during the stop counts actually backs up, simulating a fish riding the currents present in all waters.
Another sure-fire technique is to simulate a feeding baitfish by bottom-bouncing the Tail Dancer while trolling or retrieving.
Trolling the weedlines with the Tail Dancer has also proven an extremely effective technique. Pros attribute the success to the wide-tail action with a relatively stationary head, a close resemblance to real minnows.
