ทำไมแรงมันเย๊อะนักวะ ไอ้เจ้าปลาบลูฟิช เพียงแค่ไม่กี่กระบวนท่าที่ผมต้องประมือด้วยกับเจ้าบูลฟิชนั้น พลันความ “เซ็ง” ก็บังเกิดขึ้น ปลาหลุดครับ (คำสบถก็ถูกเอ่ยออกมา) ปลาตัวแรกในภาวะกดดัน (หนีการถูกจับเป็นเชลย) ก็หลุดหายไปต่อหน้าต่อตา (เสียใจ) [Subtitle: It’s so powerful – the blue fish. After a while fighting with the blue fish, then the “sick” feeling was occurred. The fish was unhooked (damn!) The first strike under the pressure situation (escaping from being loser), it was unhooked right just before me (so sad).]

ในที่สุด “ผ้าขาวม้าไทย” ก็ไปแผลงฤทธิ์ แผลงเดชที่ Jones Beach ณ นิวยอร์ค ได้สำเร็จ เสร็จเค้าละ ไม่ต้องยืมปลาใครมาถ่ายรูปละ [Subtitle: Finally, the (Thai) “loincloth” was displayed at Jones Beach, New York successfully. No need to borrow somebody’s fish to take a photo, huh?]
หลังจากนั้น เราก็ตกอยู่ในสภาวะคนกว้านช้อนซื้อหุ้นในตลาด โดยไม่หวั่นแม้เป็นวันแมงเม่าบินเข้ากองไฟ กล้องถ่ายรูปถูกจับโยนลงในกระเป๋าอีกครั้ง ต่างคนก็ต่างมุ่งมั่นตกปลาขึ้นมาในทันใด [Subtitle: After that, we all were just like the stock trader who doesn’t fear to be the flying termites flying into the fire”. Then, camera was dumped into the bag. Each of us was just focused on the fishing right away.]
ไม่ได้มีแต่เด็กบ้านนอกจากเชียงราย 3 คนมาตกปลาที่ตรงนี้ พี่เม็กซิกันก็มาเช่นกันนะครับ [Subtitle: Not only the 3 country boys from Chiangrai fishing here, but Mexican folks also came here too.]
แม้จะตกมาได้มากเพียงใดก็ตาม แต่ก็นำพากลับบ้านไปได้ตามจำนวนที่กำหนดไว้ในกติกา ผมจำไม่ได้ว่าสามารถนำกลับได้คนละกี่ตัว รอให้เจ้าโด่งหรือยอดมาตอบละกันครับ [Subtitle: No matter how many ones you catch, but only the fixed amount you can take home by the rules. หน้าเก่าได้ปลาก็กำลังจะกลับบ้านไป หน้าใหม่ยังไม่ได้ปลา ก็กำลังจะเข้ามาแทนที่ ดูแล้วเหมือนจะเป็นวัฎจักรของคนตกปลาในสายตาของผม แต่ทำไมปลาไม่หมด ไม่หายไปไหนซะที (แล้วไฉนไยเมืองไทย ป.ปลา นั้นหายาก ต้องลำบาก ออกเรือไกล อยู่ทุกที) อะไรที่ทำให้ทรัพยากรปลาไม่ลดลง ณ ที่นั่น...คน จิตสำนึก หรือกติกา หรือทั้งหมด จะดีไหมหากเมืองไทยจะเป็นแบบนี้บ้าง [Subtitle: Ones, who caught fishes, is packing gears back, while another one, who hasn’t catch any yet, is replacing. It is seemed to be the cycling path of fishing in my view. But, why fishes are always there (On the other hand, why fishes in Thailand are so hard to find). What is the key element keeping fish resource stable – man, conscious or rules of law or all of them? Would it be possible if the same will be applied at Thailand?]
ใครมีเรือก็ลงเรือตก แต่เรายืนบนฝั่งก็ตีเหยื่อถึงหมายได้ ไม่ต้องห่วง ปลาเข้ามา Strike เหยื่ออยู่เรื่อยๆ จนต้องเลิกนับว่าใครตกไปได้กี่ตัวกันแล้ว [Subtitle: Who has boat, take the boat. But, we casted onshore and reach to the strike zone. Don’t worry, fishes keep striking the lure until we lost the count.]
อรรถรสของการ Strike เหยื่อผิวน้ำ สมกับคำเปรียบเปรยของเขาก่อนหน้านี้จริงๆ เลยครับ [Subtitle: The taste of striking popper lure at the surface. It’s exactly right to his figure of speech previously.]
ตอนนี้ผมเข้าใจอย่างถ่องแท้ แบบสัมผัสได้อรรถรสแห่งคำเปรียบเปรยการใช้เหยื่อผิวน้ำ ณ หมายแห่งนี้ ได้อย่างถึงพริกถึงขิงแล้ว [Subtitle: Now, I completely understand the feeling of your insinuation in using surface lure at this fishing spot - indeed.]
