OVERVIEW

A reel for the masses – the brand-new 21 LEGALIS LT incorporating ZAION V construction. The heart of this redesign is Daiwa’s brand-new ZAION V material. OVERVIEW

The Regal LT is the latest manifestation in Daiwa’s storied Regal Line. The redesigned reel embraces the LT Concept of light and tough. The True Carbon Frame reduces weight and size yet is as rigid as conventional materials. The reel weight has been reduced from 7.9 ounces to 6.7 oz. in the 1000 series and 10.6 oz. to 7.6 oz. in the 3000 series. The Air Rotor System improves balance and rotation and reduces rotor weight by 15 percent.

Reel performance is silky smooth with 9 ball bearings and 1 roller bearing. Few reels in this price range have 9 ball bearings. The Machined Aluminum handle is swept back and the knob is oversized and ergonomically designed. The Ballistic you have come to know and love has been redesigned and upgraded. Still featuring the LT Concept for the ultimate in Light and Tough performance- now complete with our Monocoque Body (MQ) for even more power and a more compact frame. An MQ frame design allows us to fit a larger gear inside of the reel, adding power and longevity to your gear set. A 360 degree screw-in sideplate removes to need for traditional sideplate screws, allowing for a more compact and more weather resistant housing.
Utilizing our all new ZAION-V frame material, which is a more machinable compound than our standard Zaion, allows us to feature Zaion-V in a wider range of reels. Very similar in function to Zaion, Zaion-V is extremely durable, corrosion resistant and rigid.
Complete with a Magsealed main shaft to prevent water and debris intrusion, the Ballistic MQ LT is ready to take on the toughest battles.
